Looking like an early build of David Hyde Pierce, swedish pop bloke Harpo shot straight to No.24 in the British Singles Chart in 1976 with the fantastic Moviestar and then promptly vanished in to horse breeding obscurity, in this country at least. Apparently tried to sue Abba, accusing them of pinching the concept of Marionette.

He's still going strong some 32 years later and with one less working eye than before. He looks as mad as a bucket of frogs on stage.

I'd love to see him perform live. I bet he's fucking great fun. Anyone else here know much about him? What other songs of his are worth mentioning?

I can't read German, so I couldn't work out much of his pop career, but if anyone else fancies a go, be my guest.
