I'm just saying that Keith allegedly supported Corbs, Watson did.  Many others.  Stating that someone supported Corbyn in the last two elections is hardly a ringing endorsement.

I suggest you calm down a bit, it's still morning.  Long way to go yet.

Please be precise, what are you criticising?

They were Labour mp's. Mason was under no obligation to back Corbyn, and certainly did so far more extensively than many of Labour's right wing mp's. He'd probably have got much cushier gigs if he had got on the remain / fbpe / lib dem/ cuk gravy train.

He's slurping that gravy now. He just doesn't realise it. The human equivalent of a failed state. I used to be a big admirer. The Hollywood film will be called "How Our Heroes Fall 2: Don't Have Heroes"

PFI Tory loving Syria bombing austerity voting grifter who suddenly swung to the left when Big Jez took charge?

No.

I believe this story is fake news in this form. One of the smears against him which materialised when he started going after the Integrity Initiative. Or at least there was some explanation, which I've forgotten. Does it matter? Famously, Jesus changed his mind when he realised he'd been a racist cunt.

I think standing against the LP was not great and joining Galloway's rebranded UKIP is not great. If he hadn't been made an outcast, things would be different. The main point is that he's prepared to go after the smear merchants and he can have plenty of my money for that purpose.

As did Malcolm X.

Not that I'm comparing Mr. X with Jesus, obviously...

That's how I see it.  Pretty open-minded on the matter, I do not have an all-seeing eye but felt that the hounding and evil tales were directly proportionate to the stands taken against the AS purge-merchants, that looked decidedly iffy to me.

BlodwynPig

Absolutely. Williamson seems like a decent man who was angered by the machinations. I don't see that he has done anything criminally wrong.

Confidence.

I was stunned to learn from that TyskySour that the 'independent' EHRC has no black or Muslim commissioners, and that the only non-white commissioner on the board once donated £3,500 to the Conservative Party.

Appalling and essentially providing the final piece in the jigsaw of the whole Corbyn Farrago.

I would love to have a role of some sort, but there are plenty better people out there with the time and energy. But I will start local Corbyn movements to stamp out Neo-liberalism once and for all, or at least keep it contained to the bungalows and beige loafers of middle-england cul-de-sacs.

Super.  Let us know how you get on with that.

I realise he's a bit of a mad man but I think a good sort.  I think he was put in the crosshairs for similar reasons to poor old Admiral John Byng by cultist monsters.

I think you should go and boil your pointless bald head.

Now now Buelligan.  I have a full head of hair, thanks.

Yeah supping that sweet Novara media gravy! He had fucking BBC and channel 4 news jobs he could quite easily have gone on collecting the money for. Just because someone has a different perspective on how to achieve largely the exact same aims you have, that doesn't mean they are automatically a shill or a centrist.

This sounds like it might be a fair point.

The Emperor's new hair.  Everyone's seen the pictures, why even bother.

He's always done that: deny outright what can be seen in plain view.

It's one of the reasons why I suspect that centrist neolibs will tend to go full fash when the time comes to make a decision.

Buelligan

Well, at least that will give us an excuse to round them all up and wax their heads.

Did you see Nandy saying "we must make sure the Government aren't harmed by this" (paraphrasing). I threw up my pelvis.

QuoteMy favourite courgette story. Last year Jeremy was on a tour of Southside having a chat with staff. He stopped in my office and asked if I need anything; I said yes, I need advice on how to stop the ends of my courgettes rotting.

He suggested putting a porous membrane between them and the ground (great advice). Within minutes someone had spoken to Politics Home who then reported he was in my office for 'crisis talks'

Yet it speaks of the blinkered (evil blinkered) minds of Elite Journalists. Those who are still blind to it and are "able" to receive this knowledge, should be alerted.

No.

Spot on. Diane Abbott can fuck off, too, for having supported intervention in Libya and calling for more border guards. The eagerness of many cranks on the left to defend people like Williamson and Abbott from "unfair attacks" is an utter embarassment.

As our comrades at the New Socialist (a publication by bright young socialists who know that what matters is appearing radical while refusing to debase oneself by "defending smeared individuals" or whatever frivolous nonsense the loonies at the Skawkbox and The Canary engage in) say, "apologising for something is not the same as never having done it in the first place."  Admitting past wrongdoing, apologising for it, and working to be on the right side of the issues in the future are not actions we should accept from socialists. The only socialists we should accept in our movement are those who have lived, and continue to live, a life of complete moral perfection, right from the moment of birth. Any "socialist" who has taken the wrong position in the past deserves nothing but total condemnation and ostracisation, and Williamson is one such person. That he defends smeared and unjustly expelled party members like Marc Wadsworth, fiercely pushes back against the prevailing "Labour anti-semitism" narrative, brings attention to the British state-backed Integrity Initiative attacks on Corbyn, and directly challenges imperialist propaganda in mainstream media - all actions that open him up to relentless attacks - should mean nothing to us.

chveik

well I'd still rather be represented by socialists that weren't complicit in war crimes

I'm looking forward to Abbott as Home Secretary and Williamson in Corbyn's cabinet in 2024 and a purging of people like you from all forms of opinion. Mental thinking there, absolute tin foil brainz. Abbott has done more to progress socialist values with her little toe than you have even imagined with your pea brain. Pathetic. Goodbye.

A slew of wrong minds on here these days.

I think it's a  sarcastic post

You think? adding links. no humour whatsoever. If it was, my sincerest and deepest apologies, try adding some nods and winks next time.

BlodwynPig

on second reading I cannot see any sarcasm, unless it is what passes as Über-Centrist Sarcasm.
