I stumbled across this though apparently she's been knocking around for years. Anyone a fan?

Ultimately this stuff lives and dies on the quality of the songwriting. At least half this album feels like full on epics.

From Captain onwards (featuring the bloke from Spoon) this is doing the job for me.
A fuck off big sound like I keep thinking I'll get with Lana Del Ray but never do.
Reminds me a lot of where Angel Olsen went with her last album.
'Far From Home' is fuckin epic. 'These Old Roses' is so on point that I'm sure my dead grandmother would cry. Scott Walker is worth a mention though I'm always cautious with that.
