Papua New Guinea had its first COVID death yesterday (2 deaths)

Now, Fiji and the bastions of success Vietnam have experienced their first death.

Relatively minor, perhaps, but the global upswing in cases will surely be followed by a significant upswing in deaths. Hopefully, hospital capacity remains OK in places like Vietnam to keep the deaths low. Perhaps a drip rather than the first briney flotsam of a tidal wave.
