Wouldn't putting those four Scottish sides in the Prem make the Scottish top division not much better than the JD Cymru?

monkfromhavana

Fuck them off totally, then tell them that they can't operate B teams in the domestic league or loan any players to/from domestic teams and have a strict transfer window where they can buy/sell players. 5 days.

Manchester City
Manchester United
Liverpool
Chelsea
Arsenal
Spurs
Barcelona
Real Madrid
PSG
Bayern
Juventus
AC Milan
Inter
Leipzig
Atletico Madrid
Valencia
Roma
Rangers
Celtic

Celtic & Rangers might be worthwhile for the diaspora.

I say we take all of them.

Oops, sorry, Ferris. I blithely skipped over your post saying the exact same thing.

The unreality of Villa winning games is addling my brain.

Your post was easier to parse than mine! We will be relegated by Christmas, never fear.

Nothing from the Dutch or Portugese leagues?

A lack of billionaire owners. Not that Celtic or Rangers have either.

I'm watching the multiplex, that Utd kit is quite something

Man Utd paying tribute to the OMD album Dazzle Ships with that kit.

Blodders, please take James Norwood back. Constantly injured/fat/a bantzknob, and now done for drink driving (again).

Happy to, might need him in the conference next season. Groundhog years.

Only European cup winners allowed

BlodwynPig

more pennos for Man U. Give it a rest. Championship looks fun tonight, all drawers, only one with goals.

That's very decent of you, thanks, Blod.

How about only European supercup winners? Keep out some of the riff raff?

Good goal from Rashford that, although defending by both teams is a bit crap. There's acres of space.

It's ten years to the day since the first of the two matches that inspired this superb animation!

A decade on and, sadly, instead of single-handedly transforming a humiliating defeat into a harbinger of great things to come, it seems that the appearance of Mr Bale in a Spurs shirt now signals something close to the exact opposite.

Wasn't that the case when he first signed for Spurs? I remember some stat about him never being on the winning side in his first 15-20 games or so.

EDIT: that might be complete bollocks, by the way

Captain Z

I forget the exact stat but you're right, he did get a reputation as a bad luck talisman at first.

The most painful thing about the draw with West Ham was the chance he put wide a couple of minutes before their equaliser. Brilliant footwork, time and space to pick his shot into almost half the goal that the keeper wasn't covering, and he put it wide. It was a real vintage flavour of Spursy.

George Oscar Bluth II

The Euroleague is such an empty threat, they know no-one actually wants it. They're doing it for leverage and their bluff should be called.

Wonderful Butternut

DrGreggles

Real Madrid appear to be 3 down at home after 40 minutes against Shakatak.

Wonderful Butternut

Pulled one back early in the 2nd half.

Inevitability now applies.

DrGreggles

3-2

And the ref appears to have grown a moustache since the first half...
