Golden generation. You'll be knocking Tranmere out of the League Cup Semi-Finals at this rate (if we weren't already knocked out).

Weird season this.
Watched 3 really entertaining games this weekend, but find myself not giving a shit.
Either it's the lack of atmosphere that stops it engaging me, or I just don't care any more.

Agreed. I watched Saints rescue a draw against Chelsea on Saturday and whereas previously I'd have been shouting and leaping about like a twat, I just had a quick wank thought "oh, that's good" instead.

My mate's a Baggies fan, so I asked him earlier if he was going to stump up for this.
"Wouldn't watch them useless cunts if they were playing in my garden."

He fucking HATES being in the Premier League!

That's the first 0-0 this season. The more things change, the more things stay the same.

Is Clinton Morrison "the barrel scraped" for the BBC punditry team?

I don't think either team will want a draw, both teams want a win.

Burnley were the better team overall. West Brom were probably better in the first half. Burnley will probably disappointed they didn't come away with the win and West Brom will probably be disappointed they didn't create more.

I reckon in fact that West Brom will feel they created too much. Very tired now.

Clinton Morrison is a dunce. Micah Richards hasn't impressed me much yet either. Usually very recently retired players have some latent insight whether they realise or not. He just seems to be an asinine ex-gym bod with some important contacts.

His interview about the last few years of his career was genuinely interesting though.

Martin Tyler is just a staccato drone noise. Cannot stand this cunt. 4 pauses in each sentence. The only moments of calm are when the co-cunt gets a word in edgeways or in between  his rambling juddering shitty white (and i do mean white) noise.

That would include most of the population of the English-speaking world given the regular butchery I see of it.

Or is that the point?

He's a strange one. I usually only watch Liverpool games. Most of the time he sounds miserable and it sounds like part of him dies inside when we score, but maybe once a season he absolutely creams himself over a goal. Salah's goal in the top corner a couple of years back v. Chelsea being one such occasion.

He also kept mistaking Minamino for Salah in one of the games this season. I think Salah wasn't even on the pitch at the time.

Relying on stimulants to get through games, I suspect.

Been a couple of 4-0 thrashings in the West Brom - Burnley Premier League games lately. Particularly on that magnificent famous solo Super Sunday. Not the worst 0-0 for me Clive's replacement.

Blodders, please take James Norwood back. Constantly injured/fat/a bantzknob, and now done for drink driving (again).

Sounds like it’d just be a tourney but they’d stay in their respective domestic leagues. And of course, collect obscene prize money for each round (heavily debt leveraged of course) from JP Morgan, ensuring their financial doping is more and more unstoppable to give them the edge on everyone else.

It’s a fucking awful idea.

How would that work?

Man U and the Schite are both members of the Premier League...the Prem is part of the FA...the FA is a member of UEFA...can't see them accommodating this new threat to their gravy train...

quite happy to see the backs of both of them and allow either Glasgow or Edinburgh clubs in which would make for great away days

Trading them for Celtic, Rangers, Hibs and Hearts would be a beautiful thing, but I suspect what they're trying to do is simply bin the Champions League to make room for a tournament where the likes of Arsenal and Man Utd always qualify (rather than them actually leaving the PL entirely).

Oops, sorry, Ferris. I blithely skipped over your post saying the exact same thing.

The unreality of Villa winning games is addling my brain.
