Just to remind everyone how high the bar is, Johnny Morris once told Buelligan to fuck off.

As I've reported on here before, my sister in law used to work in Oban studying the marine mammal life there, and one year she consulted for Springwatch.  Kate Humble was a right horrible sort apparently, which I know upset quite a few CaBbers at the time.
Kate Humble always makes me think of the speech in Jaws about sharks having black eyes. She has shark eyes.

I'm sure this has been posted before, but...the influence of Bitches Brew on "Funky Gibbon": http://www.alwynwturner.com/glitter/funky_gibbon.html

She once said in an interview that she likes to wander around the house naked when she can. I'm obviously not suggesting anyone should hide in a hedge and train their binoculars on her Monmouthshire farm, but it's definitely worth noting that she has no shame.

Disgusting.

I'd opt for recovery and 21 more years of birdwatching

* just ticked off a lovely pair of tits bobbing into view through Kate Humble's window!

I had the three of them sign my Goodies DVD after a reunion show a few years back.
There was a bit of a line at stage door.
Oddie moved along the queue as quickly as possible, signing politely with pretty much no eye contact/ interaction.
Graeme was the funniest and made everyone laugh.
("Ive always wanted to meet you" my friend said.
"That's a coincidence, I've always wanted to meet you too.")
Tim was just delightful. Stood and chatted to everyone for ages. Warm and accomodating.

I'll forever appreciate all three for their generosity in doing that. Meant the world to me and the others there. I treasure the signed DVD.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong - despite what I said earlier in the thread, we know he's had mental health issues over the years.  He's not nonced or raped (as far as we know), so I think he can be forgiven for being a bit...different shall we say.

She gets her tits out in terrible 1990 Ian Fleming biopic Spymaker.

From Wiki:

QuoteHumble reacted to public criticism on ITV's Lorraine about her lack of intent to have children stating that "I don't want them, I've never wanted them".

The absolute MONSTER! That's not a very 'Humble' attitude. So she thinks she's special, does she? Get making babies, Humble! Do your bit for nature since you're so in to it!

"Damn it, Fleming! Who do you think you are, James Bond?" It's still up uncensored on youtube.

Nothing similar on Alice Roberts' IMDb page - I checked.

QuoteIt's that aspect, coupled with the wanting to remain a child forever (itself the cornerstone of the Goodies' whole approach), that I find unpalatable about all of them, and a lot of their fans.

Yeah, God forbid that anybody find child-like comedy appealing, eh? I mean, we should all be sneering down at it through our monocles while going on and on about the exquisite comedy timing and elegant perfection of Diana Rigg (before running off to the bogs for a quick covert Tommy Tank over a picture of Julia Breck's norks).

You obviously know your stuff to some degree, Jake, but blow me it's easy to see why so many people on here seem to see you as an obnoxious, blinkered snob.

She should be forum mascot in that regard? Walking around naked, steadfast in her refusal to have children. I saw her in that animal quiz on BBC2 - I fucking hate her.

Elderly Sumo Prophecy

I wonder if Bill Oddie ever takes the opportunity to wander around naked in the comfort of his own home. I wonder what his cock looks like.

Jake was expressing a personal opinion.  He wasn't calling on the rest of us to restructure our comedy tastes.  Calm down.

You've just reminded me the Goodies are now a duo; hard to get used to that.

Packham was very pleasant but would fuck off as soon as it was finished whereas the others would socialise. Fair enough though, he wasn't horrible about it.

Chris Packham is autistic, so it's unlikely he's going to hang around for chitty-chat, which is perfectly reasonable.

Oddie's one of the good guys, hope he gets the help he needs

Kate Humble's also a beekeeper. She'll need to be careful if she's doing that in the nip.

Good news. He posted on Twitter yesterday that he had suddenly improved for no apparent reason.

Quote from: Bill OddieFor nearly a year I have been nigh on comatose. Knocking on heavens door with Lithium Poisoning. Saved by consultant at Royal Free Hospital. Then months mostly avoiding life and people. Depressed or asleep. Scaring my family and myself. No joy and no hope.
Then 10 days ago everything changed . Energy returned. No longer intimidated by tech, politics ,or the world as it is. Loving the Euros, thrilled by "Lady Parts" on Ch4, revelling in my garden, friends, family and Sandy the dog. How?! Why? Meds, magic , or miracle?
