Cheers! And Cave Story+ is available on the 3rd Dec, which is great timing as I almost completed the old Cave Story but need to go through it all again as I can't pick up a few extra items without choosing different dialogue paths and the + version lets me skip the tedious cut-scenes and dialogue.

And I only finally bought Thimbleweed Park a month or so ago and still haven't got round to playing it, and they've got a free related Mini-Adventure I had no idea existed on there.

Cave Story free on Epic this week, a slightly large and acclaimed Indie game

Been a bit bleak on the "free" front in the latter half of this year, seems a lot of companies are jumping on the various game passes perhaps?

The Witcher 1 Enhanced Edition free on GOG Galaxy for those who don't have it already

Cold Meat Platter

Pillars of Eternity and Tyranny free on Epic now for any RPGophiles out there.

Zetetic

Tyranny is very easy to recommend spending at least a couple of hours on.

Will give it a shot, cheers.

Also, Epic are giving away a free game every day from 17th Dec to Jan 1st. No idea what yet but maybe worth checking in considering what they've been giving away recently.
I have apparently had 47 free games off them so far out of a total of 47 games in my account. I'm glad Fortnite is doing well.

Mild rumours floating around that this is the list, some rather big titles in there so it seems a touch far fetched....
17/12 - Dying Light
18/12 - Resident Evil 7
19/12 - The Witcher 3
20/12 - Mass Effect Andromeda
21/12 - Assassins Creed Origins
22/12 - Metal Gear Solid
23/12 - The Evil Within 2
24/12 - Far Cry5
25/12 - Fallout 4
26/12 - Borderlands 3
27/12 - Monster Hunter World
28/12 - Dragon Age Inquisition
29/12 - Horizon Zero Dawn
30/12 - Ghost Recon Breakpoint
31/12 - Hitman 2

beanheadmcginty

If that's the genuine list then I'm going to have an Epic MegaWank.

I'd argue that it's a bit too good to be true, especially having Witcher 3 on there, as why should CDPR do it on another service that's not the one they own.....

Prison Architect free on GOG in exchange for marketing emails - free DLC on the store page too

Probably just a rumour I'm afraid as it looks like Cities :Skylines will be today's game. Good game to start with though!

Oddworld: New and Tasty today.
Launcher broken for anyone else? Stuck on the front page no matter what I click. It's downloading what I assume is the GTAV update though.

Cold Meat Platter

evilcommiedictator

20th - Defense Grid
21st - Alien: Isolation
22nd - Metro 2033 Redux
23rd - Tropico 5
24th - Inside

Metro: Last Light Redux free on GOG just now folks. Just got the first one free not long ago so that's nice, innit Andy?

Crying Suns is this week's free game on Epic, but the big news is next week is Star Wars Battlefront II - the one that had tone of microtransactions but is now apparently not too bad.

Crying Suns is a poor man's FTL with some interesting things, I remember refunding it on Steam though, or trying the demo and not buying at least :)

It's crazy how Epic continue to give away these games. I know they make enough out of Fortnite ,and I guess the only way to outmuscle steam was to make people use the epic launcher on a regular basis ,but the library of free games I've now got from just visiting that page at 4pm every Thursday (or daily over Xmas) is ridiculous.

Some confusion on this site this afternoon, as the link I had went to the EU site and when I got to the checkout page the popup list of countries didn't include the UK. Eventually managed to find the UK site and there's a waitlist for this game, although it says it'll be back in stock tomorrow.
