I looked through that list thinking I might see Ted Danson, and luckily I didn't. You worried me there for a minute.

Ha! I stopped after Kirstie.

I'm pretty sure I saw Danson's name on a list of donors to either Buttigieg or Bloomberg during the primary.

Edit: It was Buttigieg, who somehow had a fuckton of support from celebs.
www.thecut.com/amp/2019/07/mayor-pete-buttigieg-has-a-surprising-amount-of-celeb-donors.html

The article mentions Sarah Silverman as a "Bernie Sister" but she showed up on a list of Buttigieg donors, and was rather disparaging about "Bernie Bros" in 2016.

That's the most famous list of trump supporters who have vocally backed him.

The hillbillies and rednecks are no surprise, but what the fuck is up with all the black people on there?

I dunno, please enlighten us.

Antonio Sabato Jr (Melrose Place actor and model):

"The country is doing fantastic," he said. "I think he'll be elected by 100 million votes."

That's a pretty bold prediction

I think he'll be elected by 100 billion votes

Paul Calf

I suppose everything looks fantastic if you're a millionaire actor and model who lives in a place  where the sun shines all year. I wonder whether the people who live in the dead Michigan motor cities would agree?

If I knew about UFC that list would mean a lot.

It is quite telling that about half of Trump's celebrity backers are people who earn their living by regularly getting kicked in the head.

amputeeporn

I know I'm cursing it - but just let yourself imagine him getting an absolute kicking at the voting booth. Don't think about Biden or the democrats at all, just think about Trump losing by millions of votes and having to uninstall his gold toilet from the ensuite in the Whitehouse.

The next day, his phone starts ringing off the hook with creditors - and his name will be more toxic in the business world than ever before. He goes bankrupt, and hopefully to jail. His mutant, jawless children have to get shit jobs.

Just imagine it.

jobotic

Oh I do.

Has he said anything g about the Town Hall ratings.?

Or the bunting for the cake sale?

It'll take 10+ years for him to go bust by which point he will be entirely too dead to deal with the blowback.

His dipshit kids can crimp out books once a year that people with room temperature IQs will buy for each other, guaranteeing a decent income for life.

The toxicity and damage dealt to the brand, coupled with his legacy as a failure and/or con man will be the bigger mill stone. No one will want to touch trump branded merchandise with a 10ft pole (not that they did already).

Not if he owes the IRS.

Claim it's political retaliation, whine to all your supporters, keep kicking the case around the court system for a few years, escape justice in the back of hearse.

Thomas

Just saw a clip of Harris v. Pence, defiantly arguing over who's going to ban fracking less.

It does feature Diamond & Silk though (who can't be considered real celebrities, as they owe whatever miniscule celeb-status they currently have entirely to Trump; pre-Trump they were just common (black, fat, annoying) housewives).

In my county, first 2 days of early voting is 11% turnout.

Seems a lot for 2 weekdays and it pissed down Thursday. But I guess I don't know. They'll be mostly not4trump votes here.

honeychile

I'm not sure too much can be read into early voting patterns this year. Even if it's much higher than normal... a lot of those people are probably people who would normally vote in person on election day but are doing postal votes this year because of Covid. The images of people queuing up in Georgia are striking, but at least part of that has been due to the state making it harder for black people to vote streamlining the number of polling stations.

Jon Voight and Randy Quaid are the only two in that list that disappoint me, the rest are meh or who?

Apparently today's Dallas rally was going to be where a still alive JFK Jr. revealed himself as Q and replaced Mike Pence as Trump's VP.

I didn't read anything about it actually happening though. Has anyone seen anything?

One of those supporters is Irish. Another is a car.

Are we forgetting that Trump and Pence are going to cheat? I'm not cashing out my £50 on Trump just yet.

It's Dennis Quaid, isn't it? I never actually knew until now that Dennis and Randy are brothers.
