I dreamed about Shiftwork last night.

Danger Man

He was naked in my bed.

But then he got dressed and we had lunch in a cafe in Tokyo.

But then a girl came into the cafe with a gun and he ran away.

I often dream about Shifty. Usually, we're camping in the lake district - it's a cool clear night, and we tenderly make love beneath the stars, then I fall asleep in his strong arms as he whispers Italian poetry into my ear. What a guy.

Fambo Number Mive

I've never dreamed about a Cabber. Last night Youtuber Drew Gooden was in my dream. He was wearing combat trousers and a combat t-shirt, and I walked past him. We were in some kind of park and there was poo on the ground and I looked at the poo and then looked at Drew who made a face.

Did the face look like this -

A bit.

When he got dressed he looked a bit like this

but blue instead of green.

I'm doing Stoptober but with beer instead of fags.

I've never dreamt of a CABber,  either, surprisingly enough. The people I dream of most are Mark E. Smith ( this has increased since he died), and my top Russian Emily Blunt lookalike ex- girlfriend ( been almost 8 years since she chucked me, she 's a married mum living in England now, yet she cropped up in one of me dreams again  a couple of nights ago, a bit worrying, really).

I'm disappointed that it wasn't me that Danger Man was dreaming about :(

Flouncer

It would have been a fucking nightmare if you'd turned up, mate.

Tarantino's script notes for Pulp Fiction 2 revealed.

Janie Jones

Did he pin and mount you, like a butterfly?

Pingers

I dreamed about Shoulders a while ago. To begin with he had hair and breasts, but later on he was bald with no breasts. Neither was especially appealing if I'm honest.

He did pin me but he didn't mount me.

Stoptober but with magic mushrooms sounds more appropriate.

Yes it is.  Especially for me, I think I've mentioned before that Tobe or Toby is synonymous with excrement in my mind - I have no idea why and apologise to all Tobys.  Anyway, obviously, Stoptober, makes me think of Keir Starmer.  Not good at all.

Out on its own.

It's the ghost of his memory

Surely "Morrissey considers..." etc?

I knew that I didn't like my name for a reason...

Shiftwork's definitely a step up from Extricate, but I can't say I've ever dreamed about it.

Really? Half of it sounds like anemic Happy Mondays, with a bit of Mekons doing Country and Western mixed in.Quite a few duff lyrics, too. I wouldn't " dream" of overpraising it!

Tonight I'm going to dream that you only have one Fall LP and it's Ersatz GB.

Why don't you dream about me, you miserable cunt?

Danger Man

It's hard to dream about people when you don't know what they look like.

(Though I suppose middle-aged, male, balding, phimosis would cover most on here)

Everyone looks like their avatar, no? I thought that was the rule I agreed to when signing up.

Unrelated topic - have I ever mentioned my .259/.306/.464 career slash line after 16 years in the majors?

Just imagine Neil Pearson, but he's let himself go a bit.

Gregory's much better.  Stick with Gregory.  Gregory Toblerone.
