Books about the Covid pandemic

Obviously we are still in the pandemic so it is early days for books, but I would recommend Duty of Care by Dr Dominic Pimenta, an NHS doctor who launched a charity for NHS workers during the pandemic. It really details how bad the UK government response was and gives the experience from someone working in a NHS hospital before and during lockdown.

Sounds good, in a bad way.

Planning to pick this one up - https://www.versobooks.com/books/3723-the-corona-crash - and it's about as long as 'Acting Without Acting', so pretty digestible.

^ Presumably as a scientist she would have verified the accuracy of the "gliding like a fat man on a water slide" simile, but until I see that research, I remain skeptical.
