Government to end VAT waiver on PPE

In.order to make sure as many poor people get covid as possible,  you will now be paying 20% VAT on PPE from November. Its expensive enough now for me to buy gloves, filters and hand sanitizer, let alone with VAT back.

The recent disclosures about PPE contracts going to Boris' bung chums also appeared to show that the government paid them so much money per item that they pushed up the price in the market for everyone else.
