Vids seem to be playing if you get there via a Google search, but not if you go straight to youtube.com.

Looks like they took the video player bit of it offline so they could install some new adblocker defeating software.
Doesn't seem to working properly yet but every second or third link I'm clicking on, instead of the video playing I'm getting a blank screen with a skip ad button and a small countdown timer (So there's an ad playing but I'm just not seeing or hearing it).
Before today I never saw even a hint of an ad using uBlock Origin
