I have always loved bits 'n' bobs of the whole psychedelia / folk crossover, but don't know too many tunes. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm not too keen on the stuff that veers into songs about wizards etc though. More Wicker Man-y pastoral stuff and stiff like this:

Bonnie Dobson - Winter's Going

Wizz Jones - One Grain Of Sand

Sin Agog

Weird to think that I used to throw out posts like this one on RYM based just on MEMORY alone.  I'd add a few different faces to that now, but considering I must have mentioned like forty bands there, most of which I would still vouch for, I'll just do a simple copy and paste number and use the time I saved to go off and do some quality mumming.

I have a lovely cd by A Lords but can't see it online.

Blimey, that's a lot of tunes to dig through.

Just been listening to the Parallelogram album by Linda Perhacs and it's absolutely gorgeous.

But, this track by Vashti Bunyan is probably the most beautiful thing I think I've ever heard
