There'll definitely be an episode that takes place entirely over Zoom then, won't there?

Someone forgets they're still broadcasting while they're shitting.

I get the impression from that trailer that series 6 is going to be on iplayer before it's aired on TV.

I doubt it. They like to keep it a surprise week by week. One of the relatively few remaining examples of 'appointment to view' television. (Also, the chance of a Zoom/Covid-related episode is nil as Reece has regularly complained on Twitter of such things being overdone and not that good - the film Host being his exception to the rule.)

Everything they show is now trailed as being "on *station* and the iPlayer" or "on *station* and the BBC Sounds app" if it's on the radio.

It doesn't mean anything more than being able to watch live TV on iPlayer now.

Apparently today's Guardian Guide will have an interview with Reece and Steve regarding their influences.

Presumably, being the Guide, won't be online, unless they've changed that policy now.

Oh good. :-)

On in May, lads.

Odd to be puffing it now though, unless it's very early May.  Which it isn't, as I just checked my TiVo and nothing in the next fortnight (up to Fri 7th May).

Yeah I thought it must be fast approaching. Mind, the week after the 7th is still fairly early.

Y'lucky sod Berkley!

He also has to put up with watching preview copies of Chibnall-Who, though, so it's not all beer and skittles.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the reaction on CAB to the first episode. Surreal.

Hi Reece!

Oh gawd, is it? Really wasn't a fan of that "live episode" which you could also describe as such.

I thought the live episode was amazing, so I have high hopes for this.

Steve is interviewed in a TV listings mag today and he said that as lockdown interrupted the filming they swapped a few series 6 & series 7 scripts around so the could have a series of escapism unaffected by the pandemic.

Haven't they basically used that twist already?

Poster for ep 1.

British Comedy guide posted all these and said there are new Podcast episodes. Must be the 2 covering old episodes as I don't remember hearing them.

BFI Q&A at 7pm tonight here - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9dGqMAPJRpA7M0oSdgtQgg/videos
