My medjool dates from ALDI do not have any country of origin listed. Is that allowed? I'll check the barcode.

It's probably on the shelf edge if it's in the fruit and veg aisle. A lot of medjool dates are Israeli but you sometimes see them from the USA (or elsewhere).

And, maybe, it's worth applying a bit of perspective.  Do we need SodaStream and Medjool dates so much that its OK turning a blind eye to this -

Are there any alternatives to Sodastream for gas canisters? That I can pick up locally? I can research but perhaps someone here's already done the legwork.
