Another thread reminded me of Ron.

Was there ever any follow up or has Ron slipped back in to obscurity? Do you think he's aware he's become a bit of a meme?

I can't find the original thread but I often think of Biggy's beautiful "You did Ron Ron Ron" and description of him as "looking as guilty as a fat man stood next to an empty biscuit barrel."

Is this one it

It was. I wrongly attributed Thraxx's 'You did Ron Ron Ron, You did Ron Ron' to biggy.

Ron is indeed dead now, unfortunately.

I hope they have Virgin Media in Heaven.

Ron is really the epitome of what makes Britain great. Lied to his wife and the world media in order to defraud a multi-million pound corporation out of grot money.

These days all you have to do is walk around a fucking garden. They don't make heroes like Sir Ron any more.

Not doxxing the lads, but - by a circuitous online route, worthy of GCHQ - I've tracked down Ann's social media presence. Ron is alive and well.

Really? I swear I'd read he'd died!

I hope they still have Virgin Media on earth, then.

If he did die of shame, nothing can kill him.

I love the bluntness of Virgin Media's initial response: "These films were unquestionably watched by someone in the Haywards’ home."

So did he end up paying the bill then or not?

"From my cold dead hand!"

Bet Branson has that bill framed pride of place, and photocopied as his personal toilet paper/kitchen towels/wank flannels.
