Boris Johnson says removing the bust of Churchill from the Oval Office is up to Joe Biden, despite blasting Barack Obama for doing the same.

But his spokesman was unable to explain why his reaction to Biden's redecoration was different.

"Considering the Democrats control Congress and the presidency, they could've pushed for more if they wanted to. This is a bad sign for how they will govern for the next four years."
