Please can this thread be bumped instead of the one that constantly reminds me of his death?  I'm finding it weirdly upsetting.

Here's the other thread for reference:  https://www.cookdandbombd.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic,77205.0.html

Just so I understand, you want to bump off a thread about a dead person ? I second that.

What about those adverts for Quality Street he did? He'd pop up singing " Magic Moments" when it wasn't really appropriate, and people would look embarrassed or annoyed at him. There was one ad set at Christmas time when people threw snowballs at him! What a great wig performance from the lad!

Bloody hell! I hadn't thought of those ads since, oh, two weeks ago when Glebe mentioned them in a post that's just above yours in the other Neil Innes thread.

People say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit but I think it's good.

Lovely doc. Interesting to see an amicable reunion between Innes and Idle.

I just bunged this old episode of 'Innes Own World' from 20 years back that I found on an old tape onto Youtube should it be of interest to anyone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZurmcRsjpk
