Apparently Adult Swim has to make more room for furry anime or something, so Home Movies' contract has apparently not been renewed. A damn shame, but I haven't seen much of the new series yet, maybe it dries up over that...

This is terrible news, the present series is as good as it gets. Coach McGuirk is one of the greatest TV characters of all time.

Does this mean it will not now be released on DVD? Even when it was de-DAPped I still doubted it would be released. I can't see them releasing four series of a cancelled cartoon.

I'm not sure, but I'm confident if it does become apparent no DVDs are forthcoming, the DAP will be reinstated.
