Maybe a Bulgarian women's choir like Angelite.  Even better when coupled with a bit of rough like Huun Huur Tu.  https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=r0YKDFq_4Uc

It's weird reading the comments and seeing how much of a meme they've become.  I once listened to that album naked in a field in the South Downs, only to ride back just before dawn and cycle straight into the side of a cow.

On the more trad side, I always find The Paris Sisters' You massively moving.  It's not the most inventive harmonising or anything, but there's genuine pain in those voices. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SmtzYpw0o-I

Also someone recently said some shite about the state of British pop music pre-Beatles, but the one Caravelles album is one of the most played things I own.  They're so incredibly echoplexy and breathy.  Adore them.  https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4w-eZ0i9_II

Not better, because you know why, but also perfect

wouldn't it be nice (vocals only) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPN53PHDwe4 -- I can almost forgive you Mike...

(not better, but still good)

Chris Rainbow, Capital Radio jingle singer, rather unhip pal of Kenny Everett made some great vocal tunes in the 70s

and Dear Brian's a Brian Wilson/Beach Boys/Smile tribute...

from Brian Wilson via his people
"I felt really bad to hear about Chris Rainbow passing away, he was too young. I remember in the late 1970s, a friend played "Dear Brian" for me and I was touched and honored by it. It was a beautiful track. I wish the best for Chris's family and friends.

Love & Mercy,

Brian"

A beautiful harmony needn't be angelic, it can be rough-hewn, clay baked and end in a different key than it started.

Some Sicilian lads bang out something traditional and religious and it reminds me a bit of Song to the Siren

Lungpuddle

Technically it's a cover of a Sutherland Brothers song, the original was slightly more subtle but I think this version manages to retain the raw emotion while appealing to populist sensibilites and is just on the right side of sentimental. People may, possibly rightly, think it's a bit too broad, but I think it's pitched perfectly. Life has been hard, things are getting worse, but I can't imagine that dampening our appreciation for such a tune.

Makes me proud to be human.

Thanks for posting those... beautiful songs I'd never heard before.

There's this jazzy Venezuelan geezer called Aldemaro Romero who used to concoct some insanely intricate and fun polyrhythmic vocal interplay.  This track in particular is so gottdamned good.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhcTMVhvtEs
