Please do so, but I probably won't contribute.  Watching people I know and love being labelled "psychopaths" a few years ago was enough for me (and judging by a few PM convos I've had on this subject, I'm not the only one).

Plus, of course, none of us are as anonymous as we used to be.

Sorry to hear about Del's ban. I don't know the details and I won't ask, but sad to hear nonetheless (from the perspective from someone who hasn't been around too much recently to know what's been going on of course).

I hope to see as many of you as possible at the next safe and doable CaB London meet whenever it becomes humanly possible. Can we go somewhere else other than Spoons though?

Pre-lockdown I had a consistent number of bad experiences at various Spoons locations, but to be honest after everything came out about the man in charge it more or less put me off entirely. Aside from that though, there's so many lovely places to check out around town - I'm just hoping most of them will still be there in a few months.

I could be wrong but didn't someone (maybe NoSleep?) do a search of all the pubs within gobbing distance of a central station and only Penderel's Oak had accessible toilets?  It was important at the time so that Trotsky Assortment could come, I don't know if he still posts here?  (Plus, mixed grill.)

Cohaagen got a mention upthread and I have to concur that he's deeply missed. His obsession with Michael Winner and the Death Wish film series spawned some of the most consistently great writing I've witnessed on these boards. His in-character fake anecdotal ramblings about being Winner's right-hand man are fucking hilarious, that thread is solid gold.

He also made some fantastic MS Paint comics/drawings about Death Wish and other terrible old action films but sadly the hosting for the image files has long since expired.

There was a website that you could search for pubs (possibly for London only) with various filters. I think the name started "pub in the..." or something. There should be a link if you can find an old enough thread from an old meet.
