Putting two egg-based dishes together like that is the work of a dangerous lunatic. In Graham Chapman's book A Liar's Autobiography, he describes ordering a three-egg omelette somewhere (New Zealand I think). The waitress returns with a large omelette with three fried eggs arranged atop it. "Diners up to 3 tables away were visibly sick".

Very confused by this.

Is it a scotched egg sitting within the quiche scrambled egg bit?  Or is the scrambled egg bit mixed with with further sausage meat right to the brim? 

it doesn't look like the egg has a scotched layer around it, does it.  just looking

Is the breadcrumb relegated to the surface of the quiche or is some surrounding the egg?  If not I don't know how the egg isn't just an egg in a sausage quiche.  It has to still be a scotched egg, surely?  to have the tesco seal of approval, i mean



So here is my final assumption about this fucking thing:

QUiCHE
(scotched egg quiche)
serves fucking 8

1) quiche base and sides are the usual pastry thing that quiches use

2) onto base of pastry someone has popped an entire scotched egg, just pressed it there

3) poured into the rest of the quiche pastry a scrambled egg and sausage meat combo, filling it to the brim

4) skimmed across the top more of the scotched egg style breadcrumbs

5) eat!
