Cup finals between 2 'baddies' are always the worst, as there's no good outcome.
10 years ago everyone would have wanted City to win.
20 years ago everyone would have been looking forward to it as a neutral.
35 years ago it would have been the Full Members Cup Final.

Kankurette

Many years ago, Chelsea wouldn't have been in it due to not being champions.

Neither of them would.

QuoteSheeran has a long-standing affinity with Ipswich and Suffolk in general.

Having an affinity for an entire county 'in general' is so Ed Sheeran the bones of the Earth are weeping.

lankyguy95

Is it any less dignified than being sponsored by a betting company?

Crabwalk

It might not be a worse humiliation than 'Magical Vegas', but it's a new one.

Spoiler alert
Taking my cynical tosspot hat off, it's actually really good news for the club as the guy has, I understand, thousands of fans around the planet that now know who we are

He came and went dint he, that Bugg lad.

The Culture Bunker

And of course, Clydebank were once sponsored by Wet Wet Wet:

Shirt modelled here by Scottish football icon Davie Cooper, who died shortly afterwards from presumably unrelated causes.

Ironically, those were the last three words he was screaming when he aquaplaned off the road into a nearby tree.

God, I don't talk to you much these days, and frankly have stopped believing you exist, however, if you can see it in your plan to give me a Paul Cook/Ed Sheeran 'elbow touch' photograph, I will attend church again, the proper one, CofE, as you intended

Arsenal are absolute fucking shit. Arteta's got to go along with half the squad.

Spineless insipid pathetic cunts the lot of them. No drive, no mental fortitude and no hunger.

FUCK! OFF!

ElTwopo

I liked it when West Brom were sponsored by The Ghostbusters

Kankurette

Maybe Arsenal should sign Suarez. He's hungry.

Mick George sponsoring Cambridge is one of my favourite examples of sponsorship because it means Chip in a Skip. A Mick George skip is brought into the pitch and fans are invited to chip the ball into it. To my knowledge, it has never been done. No offence to Marvin the Moose, but the skip should be Cambridge's mascot. Stick some eyes on it.

It's good to have a hobby.

I'm told Leicester will stick with promoting Thailand, at least for now.

Kankurette

And Sheffield Wednesday are sponsored by some bollocks company made up by our chairman. Bring back the Chupa Chups kits and make Keiren Westwood look like a giant bee.

Hat FM

that arsenal performance was just horrific. leaving a knackered partey to sort out the whole of midfield while the others storm forward to create nothing. taking auba off with ten mins to go when he had previously come so close. playing martinelli hugging the line on the left when he could have been a menace up front. what a mess. real shame saka had a bit of a no show but he's carried us so often this season. smith rowe looked like he was up for it but not much else going on. Really think it might be time for Arteta to go. no progress whatsoever.

while we talk of shirt sponsors

sorry this is so big. no idea how to shrink it...

Not forgetting Goldie Lookin Chain briefly sponsoring Newport County.

To be fair, she was the best one in Bananarama.

Fr.Bigley

For all the shit sponsors Leeds has had (including 2 seasons with no sponsors) I'm glad we didn't have to deal with having the kaiser chiefs adorning that crisp white shirt.

Shoulders?-Stomach!

Ok Leicester, come on. There is no way this should be happening.
