XBONE Region Lock

I bought a XBONE from CEX and it seems to be region locked to 1 and so can't play any of my R2 Dvd's and I guess that will be the same for Blu Rays. Is there a way to change it to the right region?[nb]the whole region thing seems antiquated these days[/nb]

Oh and I've checked in settings and both language and location are UK.

I don't think you will be able to change the region. They'll probably exchange it for a R2 one if you take it back though.

I looked into this when I had a One X, no way of changing the region, unfortunately.

Thanks. I didn't realise it was a hardware thing rather than your usual dvd software region code.
