Topic: Smartphone issue - "Google Play services keep stopping" message

Just this evening I keep getting a message flashing up on my Samsung Galaxy J3 every few seconds saying "Google Play services keep stopping". Deleting the cache doesn't seem to work, and I can't install the latest version of Google Play services. The information on the internet isn't very helpful. Can any of you help?

Google killed google play service , I think. Just do a force stop on the app or unintsall it if you can.

Have you tried clearing the app's (well, service's) data, rather than just its cache? You'll need to log in again, but it might fix it.

Thanks for the advice both of you, much appreciated.

I tried cleaning the service data as well as the cache but it didn't stop the message for some reason.

I managed to uninstall it after I removed two devices from the device admin list, these were stopping me from installing for some reason. The message hasn't come up since.
