It has run since 1990, and is basically a bunch of old biddies win the chance to appear on television thanks to scratchcards, playing nonsensical arcade-slot machine style games of chance, while the audience of family and friends wave posters and hoardings in the air.
Yet it has run for thirty years, still pulls in the punters, and yet somehow hasn't changed.

Also the prizes are massive, you're likely to come away with a holiday, a car and thousands upon thousands of euro. Very hard to get in though, you have to get three winning streak tokens on scratch cards to even be entered into the contestant draw.
