"OFF THE CUFF!"

I thought this was really funny (go to 10 minutes and 25 seconds exactly):

Ryan Goldsher and Clint DeNisco are the guys' names.

This duo use "Off The Cuff" as their name. It's also the name of an obscure doc about improv comedy that I stumbled upon on YouTube: "OFF THE CUFF - Grandchildren of Chicago Improv." Ironically the comedy is a little reminiscent of the aforementioned parody.

If you watch the doc you can better appreciate how it's an entire scene: very few are professional. I did have some notion of this given how popular it is to learn improv. Here in Berlin it seems to be a big thing among ex-pat Americans. I think they are convincing when they intimate that it's a holistic lifestyle for them: exercise for mind, body and spirit. Still, they are all very American, aren't they?

That's a really good bit of sustained cringe, I enjoyed it very much. The Alphabet Game is my favourite part.

They are really talented. They have that scathing, Tim-and-Eric vibe.

The video above is hosted on their own channel, and they have other videos with the characters. It really made me laugh to see them squeezed into a single chair here for a staged "Morning TV" interview, which serves as short sequel to the above video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jabZFECrjjk

And a very savage James Corden impression from Goldsher, in facial prosthetics, here (with Dana Carvey as Paul McCartney!):
