Are there any rock/pop bands of the 60s and 70s where every member is dead?

Half of the Beatles are dead, there's 3 remaining of the Velvet Underground (Doug counts), for all their "wild living" all but one of the Rolling Stones are still alive (2 if you include Ian Stewart).

The Ramones and The Jimi Hendrix Experience.

All four core members of The Left Banke are dead. Thing is, they were all alive in 2015, but died in quick succession over the next half decade. :(

The Ramones and The Jimi Hendrix Experience.

Does Marky count as a Ramone? He was with them for 50 years and still wears the wig.

LORD BAD VIBE

There are loads with only one member still alive:-
The Small Faces
Gerry & The Pacemakers
The Fourmost
The Mamas & The Papas
The Temptations
T. Rex
The Supremes (original line up)
The Fortunes
and, errrrr...Peter & Gordon.

I'll do you one better, 80s mate, Motorhead. Motordead. Everyone from the classic run of albums including Ace of Spades died within a few years of each other.

He was still a Ramone at the point when they called it a day, but that was 25 years ago. If you count the years when they were a going concern he was the drummer for 2/3rds of that time on and off. No-one's left now to tell him he's not a Ramone, I guess.

The Four Tops?

edit. Nope, Abdul Fakir is still going at the ripe old age of 85.

I wonder how many other people's last words were 'oh shit'.

Who was that other guy whose car was hit by one of those massive cylindrical hay bales?

#edit# the cellist from ELO.
