I'd forgotten this one. As someone pointed out at the time; it looks exactly like a puzzle screen for a '90s PC adventure game.

I'm clearly in a minority of British people on thinking this, but it's also very disturbing to see the subtext that there are five generations of heads of state in that picture; it tells me exactly why I think monarchy is a batshit idea.

The photoshopping is so wild on it, there's loads of reality-bending stuff going on that you don't notice but in combination make it feel eery and hyper real at the same time. The saturation/sharpness turned to 11 doesn't help either.

That picture of Phil in the back left there would be the shape of a pipe of pringles and he'd be framed from his balls up, if it was real.

It's like she's called us into her office to see some photos, but we're wearing those red/green coloured 3D glasses and her gesturing-arms fell off so we're just staring directly at each other in charged silence.

Unsettling stuff.
