I'm watching the new Lou Sanders ep of RHLSTP recorded live at the Clapham Grand a couple of weeks ago.

Rich and Lou are all alone on the stage, socially distanced from each other, their voices echoing in the empty auditorium. The audience are on a screen, grid-style, watching from their homes.

Rich and Lou are doing a good job, but fuck me it's making me sad.

Thanks for the links. Only watched a little bit so far, but you're right. It would be better if they did it from home and Lou had a nice unicorn Zoom background, doing it in a theatre just accentuates the loneliness.

I'm not sure what a good solution would be to be honest. It's nice that they went to the effort to do something different to another greenscreen Zoom-at-a-desk; and I think this made money for the venue which is probably struggling.

But yeah. Strange, sad times.
