As for who it is, he's presumably French due to the Tati clue, and there aren't that many world-famous French comedy experts, so it shouldn't be hard to work out.
Unless he's not a comedy expert, but that would make the thread title pointless; it would just mean that he didn't like the comedy shown on French TV.
