Baddiel on Celebrity Bake Off, like Taskmaster, again showed why he is the least valuable person on television. Both Anne-Marie and James MacAvoy were funnier and more competent, despite Anne-Marie generally coming across as the world's dimmest, ditziest teenager (she apparently had never heard of scones. She's nearly 30.) Baddiel didn't say anything funny, he just made second-rate cakes. One was a tribute to his and Frank Skinner's cat, Chairman Miao, which I guess was sort of nice, even if I wouldn't want to eat it.

I think it turns up in Family Guy too, although that's probably after Baddiel first mentioned it and definitely after Richard Adams, however I'd be surprised if the FG writers were aware of either so it's just further example of how obvious it is.

I thought it was common knowledge that Fry, Amstell and Lucas were Jewish. Lucas went to Haberdasher's Aske's. And I think Feltz did a show on Yom Kippur and got a load of criticism from Orthodox Jews for it.

I didn't know Sue Perkins was in the tribe though.
