Video Essay on the 'Jam's
« on: March 05, 2021, 01:18:01 PM »
HELLO YOU.

I'm relatively new to Morris' work, although I was introduced to The Day Today several years ago through YouTube clips. I've since been fascinated by his more controversial work, particularly the Jams, and I thought I'd try to analyse them in terms of horror conventions, as much as it is (supposedly) a comedy show. I'm curious to see what you think, and feedback is appreciated :)

Was minded to revisit these recently when those articles appeared about the woman who married herself during lockdown

You've just got to hope that's as far as life-imitating-art goes when it comes to the Jams....

Great work! I liked the diverse use of clips and you have a good voice. I haven't thought about boiler baby in a while... it's still very frightening.
