As per the thread title, Dan Sartain's died. First saw him supporting the Night Marchers circa 2009 and quickly fell in love with his scrappy, sometimes lo-fi, sometimes garage rock, sometimes rockabilly, sometimes balladry, etc style. He then went and put out some genuinely intriguing albums: Too Tough To Live (mid-80s Ramones pastiche) and Century Plaza (Suicide-esque synths) stand out, but I'd also say that Dudesblood from 2014 showed off his ability to write great pop songs in a variety of styles perfectly.

Wasn't aware of him, but fuck, that's young. RIP.
