Is there already a thread for these? Did I make it??

Anyways, thinking about getting one. Either the small monoprice one cheap used as a trial or going straight in for a Prusa (resale value seems very strong?). Anyone here get one? Did you find much use for it or was it all more hassle than it was worth?

Been wanting one but know I won't actually use it enough/ever. Intend to do up some boat bits and carbon filament/epoxy over the shit plastic.

I got a Prusa mini end of last year - just as the brexit tax bollocks kicked in.

Anyway it is a piece of piss to build, set up and use and the Slicer tool is very good. Plus you get a free bag of Haribo.

Things I have printed since getting it;
Shapes for cutting biscuits (baby yoda, skull, death star, pair of tits)
a small Tardis
Dungeons and Dragons figures
hose coupler
bracket to repair a broken dyson hose attachment
a 3" cock and balls
model of the axiom from Wall-E
storage box for a fuck load of loose screws

very versatile thing really, and it appears i love the smell of molten filament

if it's just the odd specific thing you can get a service to print it and post it.
