Sebastian Cobb

Claire's sort-of homeless in Until the end of the World isn't she?

Dex Sawash

Ballad of Ballard Berkley

Chauncey Gardiner is temporarily homeless in Being There. Does that count? Probably not. Plus it's a comedy-drama. But he is a homeless protagonist... for a bit.

I'm probably on safer ground with Ironweed, in which Jack Nicholson, Meryl Streep and Tom Waits play homeless alcoholics during the Great Depression. And although it's not a film, nor a particularly great drama, Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk was a homeless person. As was Caine in Kung Fu.

Just remembered Beggars of Life starring Louise Brooks and Wallace Beery. Rather good silent film.

Fr.Bigley

The man with no name also had no fixed abode...

No name and no address, fat chance of being able to get a Santander rewards account offering 150 pounds if you switch to them as a main account with two direct debits..hahahahaha what a Wally..
