RIP Anita Lane

Top Shelley Duvall Lookalike and Nick Cave collaborator Anita Lane  no longer with us at the age of 62. Quite an important muse for the time of the Cavester while his band  were then  transitioning from The Boys Next Door to The Birthday Party ( She co - wrote a few songs with him, including one of my personal faves " Dead Joe", from the ' Junkyard' 'album), and was a pretty good performer in her own right, albeit producing quite a slim body of work ( Her " Dirty Pearl" album remains one of the best two squids worth of purchase I made from Record And Tape Exchange). RIP.
