Mine is "You Can Fall" from The Noise Made By People.

I'm going to have to be a bore and choose "Come On Let's Go".

I easily could have gone for "The Book Lovers", "Subject To The Ladder", "Pendulum", "Before We Begin", "Tears In The Typing Pool", "America's Boy". But there's something about "Come On Let's Go" which just works on every level - sumptuous arrangement, beautiful vocal, lyrics I can relate to...

RIP Trish.

Custard

Come On Let's Go is beautiful

Today I'd probably go for these as a top 3

The Book Lovers
Unchanging Window
Before We Begin

Amen. Such a premature death...

Brundle-Fly

Message From Home. It was the first track I heard by them played out in Selectadisc in Soho in '97. I don't think I've ever zipped to a record shop counter to make an inquiry quicker in my life.

Another vote for "Unchanging Window"

The 7-minute "Unchanging Window/Chord Simple" combo off "Extended Play Two" is probably my favourite iteration. I don't think it really works as a Broadcast album track, if that makes sense? But as a stand-alone thing it's just beautiful.

Ah yes, that piano trill that hangs in the air is wonderful. Definitely the second best recorded segue ever.

Dirty Boy

Until Then is the one i've probably listened to the most.

Also, Look Outside. Black Cat, Man Is Not A Bird, The Be Colony (with The Focus Group), Ominous Cloud, Echoes Answer, Winter Now, Poem Of Dead Song, Goodbye Girls...

It's an impossible choice really, everything they did was magnificent.

Yep, one of the very few bands I can confidently say never released a bad song.
