Currently running on Now TV.

I thought it was an interesting watch as I've always loved Tina Turner despite that probably being a bit weird. The idea of a middle aged, screeching powerhouse doing uncontrollable, barely contained, flailing type dancing on stage is so appealing to me, and she made some amazing songs.

Of course the main thrust of the first half was the abuse suffered at the hands of Ike Turner and, as someone whose mother suffered domestic abuse, it does irk me when you see she was still answering the same questions about it 25 years after they split up and she was her own artist selling out stadiums and starring in films. I couldnt imagine having to relive that trauma time and again.

Anyone else check this out yet?
