Labour Party - We are not the party of people on benefits

Not worth starting a thread but just tuning briefly into Question Time. Wow seems to have sunk further down the gutter. Letting a supposed serious American guest just discuss US involvement in Brexit Impact on Good Friday Agreement by telling a lame Donald Trump joke and showing off his shoes. Goaded on by the host.

Isn't even the closing light hearted question.

Haha was worth staying with. Someone brings up the bent banana myth of EU. Labour member after earlier licking up to Tories says that is false to which Tory states the point still stands though.

Whats the deal with the Oz Katereji guy? Seems to have a massive chip on his shoulder regarding Corbyn

Was it a seven inch chip though?

Jettison the cunt now. This wouldn't happen in any other walk of life. Ailing CEO granted 1 year to continue to fail. Workshy layabout told to take another few weeks holiday by  boss of PPE manufacturing site.

Very much the sort of cunt the BSP would favour.

he has a massive thing about the "hard left" being so anti-imperialist they blame the west for everything and flagwave for Assad and the Saudis. When actually people like Corbyn just think we should selling them so many weapons.

Gotta have a thing. So you can go on Tracy Dobermanns podcast to talk about Corbynistas.

Stella, the response I'm seeing to this all around is utterly depressing. The Party has a long way to go.

Indeed, until deadwood like Creasy are expelled the Party has no future

Richard Whiting is a fucking fly in the ointment isn't he.

Well imagine a hypothetical bald sex pest that might have once stunk up an equally hypothetical comedy message board for years, basically it's another one of them, wherever they come from. Don't understand the human journey that gets someone to that very strange and dismal place myself, but there you go. Seems to be a process churning them out somewhere and a very large proportion end up on the Labour right for some reason.

21% drop in youth voting intention since 2019!

This is shot one of a 1-2 punch.

Shot two is pointing out to the fucking melms who reply 'youth vote doesn't win you elections' by pointing out neither doesn't polling 31% nationally.

Too slow, chicken marengo.

Oops.

Well more stats from Leftie Stats now having a prediction from current polling that Labour stand to do worse than any election since 1935:
QuoteVoting intention poll:

CON: 45% (+4)
LAB: 32% (-1)
LD: 8% (-2)
GRN: 6% (-1)
SNP: 4% (-1)

[Seats]
CON: 371 (+32)
LAB: 197 (-24)
SNP: 50 (-3)
LD: 8 (-5)
GRN: 1 (-)
OTH: 23 (-)

Tory majority of 92 seats. Worst Lab result since 1935.

Oh Corbyn, what a poisonous legacy you left us.

I'm quite bored, might quote tweet it at Jobbies with the '20 points ahead' vid attached.

DO IT. I hope it haunts him at night and into early grave.

By pure coincidence, I just clocked this on my timeline, where Jobbies seems to have completely misunderstood the core concept in David Graeber's Bullshit Jobs theory, and seemed to think it included 'burger flippers':

I more-or-less like Bastani, despite thinking he's a bit smug/showboaty at times, but fucking hell:

Also love a good Dawn Foster send.

yeah doing a bit on a pro-English nationalist/anti-IRA chant (which I found on a quick google) is fucking weird. i've never warmed to him. i didnt like Ash Sarkar at first but do like her a lot now, and she's a lot smarter than he is on every level

edit lmao

Bastani and Walker have always felt like the thick twins compared to Sarkar and Butler.

I don't think Walker is particularly good, but think as a presenter he's basically ok. I think Bastani hectors him a bit by going 'oh no micheal...' and inventing a counterpoint.

Even worse than that, presumably, after the boundary changes.

Bizarre that anyone would even toy with the idea he isn't.  I feel like the world just got even more lumpen.
