Absorb the anus burn

It has to be...

"... There's Hydrogen and Helium
Then Lithium, Beryllium
Boron, Carbon everywhere
Nitrogen all through the air
With Oxygen so you can breathe
And Fluorine for your pretty teeth
Neon to light up the signs
Sodium for salty times
Silicon
(Phosphorus, then Sulfur) Chlorine and Argon
(Potassium) And Calcium so you'll grow strong
(Scandium) Titanium, Vanadium and Chromium and Manganese
This is the Periodic Table
Noble gas is stable
Halogens and Alkali react aggressively
Each period will see new outer shells
While electrons are added moving to the right
Iron is the 26th
Then Cobalt, Nickel coins you get
Copper, Zinc and Gallium
Germanium and Arsenic
Selenium and Bromine film
While Krypton helps light up your room
Rubidium and Strontium then Yttrium, Zirconium
Molybdenum, Technetium
(Ruthenium) Rhodium, Palladium
(Silver-war) Then Cadmium and Indium
(Tin-cans) Antimony then Tellurium and Iodine and Xenon
And then Caesium and
Barium is 56, and this is where the table splits
Where Lanthanides have just begun
Lanthanum, Cerium and Praseodymium
Neodymium's next to
Promethium, then 62's
Samarium, Europium, Gadolinium and Terbium
Dysprosium, Holmium, Erbium, Thulium
Ytterbium, Lutetium
Hafnium, Tantalum, Tungsten then we're on to
Rhenium, Osmium and Iridium
Platinum, Gold to make you rich till you grow old
Mercury to tell you when it's really cold
(Thallium) And lead then Bismuth for your tummy
(Polonium) Astatine would not be yummy
(Radon) Francium will last a little time
(Radium) then Actinides at 89
This is the Periodic Table
Noble gas is stable
Halogens and Alkali react aggressively
Each period will see new outer shells
While electrons are to the right
Actinium, Thorium, Protactinium
Uranium, Neptunium, Plutonium
Americium, Curium, Berkelium
Californium, Einsteinium, Fermium
Mendelevium, Nobelium, Lawrencium
Rutherfordium, Dubnium, Seaborgium
Bohrium, Hassium then Meitnerium
Darmstadtium, Roentgenium, Copernicium
Nihonium, Flerovium
Moscovium, Livermorium
Tennessine and Oganesson
And then we're done... "

So what do you say to somebody you hate? Someone who tries to bring trouble your way? Wanna resolve things in a bloodier way? Study a tape of NWA.

I didn't actually know the third question in that til I Googled the words.

I was horrified to discover that We Didn't Start The Fire by Billy Joel was being used by my children's history teacher, as in "go away and find out what all the lines refer to and write out a brief synopsis".

Whenever a question comes up about philosophers on University Challenge, I always quickly run through "The Philosophers Song" from Monty Python in my head and pick one whose nationality sounds like it matches. So for example if the question is, "Which French philosopher..." I'll run the song through to "Rene Descartes was a drunken fart, I drink therefore I am" and say Descartes. It works roughly about 30% of the time.

Python were great for this. Oliver Cromwell and Decomposing Composers have come to hand in at least one exam/pub quiz/bet.

They Might Be Giants not only answer 'Why Does the Sun Shine?' but also 'Why Does the Sun Really Shine?' The answer will shock you!

Also their factual song Mammals.

Spoiler alert
I don't like their James K Polk song.

One, you lock the target
Two, you bait the line
Three, you slowly spread the net
And four, you catch the man

Thanks

Not just Python. I remember getting another question about Siberian hamsters right on University Challenge because I remembered the episode of Fawlty Towers where Manuel claimed that was what the rat he had been sold was.
