trying to remember a dark pop/r'n'b song

there's a song I heard while out coming from a restaurant or somewhere, and I'm sure I know it but can't remember. I think it's by someone famous who makes dark pop like FKA Twigs or Lorde. Or it could even be someone as big as Ariana Grande or Beyonce.

it's a got a really deep bass trumpet/horn playing long, slow droning notes. Then on top of that is like breathy, more traditional pop/r'n'b/soul singing. It has kind of chanting "yeahs" and vocal harmonies and sounds kind of spooky alongside the sparse droning low trumpet. The trumpet is so low and loud it sounds almost like a train horn or siren.

i did a little sound clip of how the trumpet sounds (but it has slow pounding drums as well i think) https://vocaroo.com/1g9CEVplkpml

The Mollusk

Doesn't match your description entirely but I'll have a stab at it: "Water Me" by fka twigs?

Thanks but its not that. I don't think it is her now, I've listened through all of lp1 and Magdalene, and I think the song I'm thinking of has a more traditional rnb/pop voice, though the backing music is more dark/alternative.

Goldentony

Likely way off here, but the clip and description reminded me of Redlights by Salem

I think the song I'm thinking of is a bit more minimalist than that, dunno why I can't think of it

Lorde -Tennis Court

the deep synth in that sounds pretty similar to the song I'm thinking of, not it but the most similar sound so far

I don't know any of her stuff but from the description could it be Lana Del Rey?

no idea but I remember this song sounding a little more "r'n'b" than what I associate her sound with. Like a dark, minimalist Destiny's Child or something

If it's not 'Tennis Court' by Lorde, could it be '400 Lux' by Lorde? That track has the train horn/siren: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2u4eYlZNh9Q

it's not that. But again similar feel. The singing in my song had kind of soul harmonies going "ey hey yey yeah" like r'n'b -ish but spooky against the deep sparse bass. I'm racking my brains.

Elderly Sumo Prophecy

Try this one, Baggage by somebody called Njomza, apparently:

A lot of the comments say they heard it coming out of Starbucks. Maybe you heard it walking past one?

That's fucking great! I've seen a bit of her stuff before and intended to investigate more as I really like her sound and aesthetics in the videos etc., but I really have to now.
