Having your gallbladder removed is a real disappointment. It makes no noticeable difference to what you can eat and you don't even get a scar as they go in through the tummy button. The only difference is that my innie is now an outie :(

But did stop the bouts of the most excruciating pain I have ever felt.

Just above. There's an inch-wide cut about half an inch above the navel.

Yeah. I thought the inflammatory attacks were bad but when it shed a stone, the pain was so bad I started hallucinating.
