The ridealong scene with Bart is great, both for the exchange with Lou:

It's called a baton, son.
What's it for?
We club people with it.

And this shot:

They are finally taking that young boy away.

Probably cheapest to order the old dvd boxsets. You can get seasons 1-10 for well under a fiver each on the used market.

Sebastian Cobb

Hey, Chief, can I hold my gun sideways? It looks so cool.
Ah, sure. Whatever you want, birthday boy!

Well, we only have the man power to enforce the last law passed. You know, it's not the best system, but... well, in fact, it's pretty much the worst.

It's more-or-less as easy as typing 'stream simpsons online' if you're not too arsed about visiting scuzzy streaming sites.

FACT: Fox is a big faceless corporation, which makes it okay!

When I was watching the first 18 seasons last year I found some of my seasons (three and four from memory) had suffered from disc rot and I had to download them.

The commentaries on the early episodes are great but if you aren't bothered about that, you might as well just get Disney+. Then download the Michael Jackson episode if such a thing exists.

Have Disney undid the 16:9 crop? I'm not a big traditionalist when it comes to aspect ratio (e.g. Wire/X-Files), but in The Simpsons that's surely going to fuck some sight-gags right up?

Yeah. It is 16:9 default but you can go into the options and set it to always be 4:3 for The Simpsons.
