Mate my knees are well and truly covered up, as should yours be


Thick long johns, and a kind of heavy woollen trouser, coarse as a boar's face, at least 6-ply in M&S terms; that's what I have on above and beyond my knees

Because knocking knees is much different.  The surface area of bare legs is far bigger than that of teeth
