I really enjoyed this guy's enthusiasm and humour, pure fun and charisma. For the first few seconds I felt too old to watch him and I thought he was probably a nob, but within five seconds I was totally on board. Sad that he passed away so young and I can only blame the Internet and the madness it provokes. I feel like the Internet taps into some profound spontaneous Id which is impossible to contain. For all of the good fun elements, I can't help but feel we are not meant to live this way. RIP Desmond, two years on.

Used to watch his reaction stuff with a young family member. Was something to bond over and he was endearingly exciteable about absolutely every announcement nintendo made. I found it sad and upsetting what happened to him, although I didn't subscribe/follow him myself. For full frankness, I have just this moment discovered Desmond is his real name.
