Fort Triumph - first turned-based game I can't comfortably run

A turn-based RPG which for some reason uses 100% of my GTX 1660Ti GPU even in the settings menu doing absolutely nothing on low at 720p. What? It uses the 'Unity' engine so maybe lazy programming?

Sounds like it.  Unity is fine, but it's almost a bit too easy to use:  you can get something into a working state very easily, but then it's on you to optimise it after that.  There are a lot of Unity games that just skip that step, and struggle to run well on anything other than a NASA supercomputer.  The absolutely batshit 'levels' and payment models they had for using the engine in the past didn't help either.

Thanks, I changed from 'Borderless Window' to 'Exclusive Fullscreen' and now it's much better. Also now running it on an old PC with a passive GPU heatsink, so no annoying fan noise!
