I had to endure an hour of Toploader at the Campaign for a Living Wage gig in Manchester on my 17th birthday, sandwiched between Idlewild and Catatonia (the main reason I was there). They were dreadful. Catatonia were a bit disappointing but at least they took the stench of Toploader away.

The Dum Dums were the first act on, incidentally, and only did 2-3 songs, then fucked off.
