Conversation Peace (1995) has a good track on it, 'Treat Myself':

Radio Bremen (after Musikladen #10 23.1.74), especially 'Contusion' from 5:42:

Not obscure at all, but I only discovered very recently that Stevie wrote "Tell Me Something Good" for Rufus and Chaka Khan.
Now that is a banger.

Just looked up the personnel on that show.
Lead guitarist Michael Sembello (with serious grown-up facial hair) was born in 1954.
He is 19 years old here.

His version of "Sixteen Tons" is quite something too

The Real Thing by Sergio Mendes was written by Stevie and it's an absolute corker

I’d have gone for Mistra Know It All too, had it not been mentioned.  Keep your ears peeled for the last few seconds in the fade out - depending on the version (some fade a bit later) when he sings, “He’s mistra - Wah! Know it all.

Anyway, this might be a a little bit slow to count as a banger, and I don’t know whether this is very obscure either, but Heaven Help Us All.

Just ace.
